Helm has been designed to run continuously, so there is no need to turn it off unless you have been specifically instructed to do so by a member of the Customer Support team (e.g. for a return).
If instructed to power off your Helm, you may do so by pressing and holding the power button until the LED dims slightly (about 10 seconds). Upon releasing the button, the LED will flash intermittently on and off while Helm shuts down.
Once the LED has stopped flashing, your Helm will be powered off and can then be unplugged.
NOTE: Should you desire to power off your Helm for any other reason, you may do so, but you will no longer be able to send or receive any email.
